PICTURE UPGRADE FOR HPS SIMULATION'S FULDA GAP '85

Unzip into your main Fulda Gap directory, making sure that both "Overwrite existing files" and "Use folder names" are both checked in the WinZip Extract menu. The files should slot themselves into the correct places automatically.

There are two zip files in all: FG85_NATO.zip and FG85_WARPAC.zip. Utilising both will update all the unit graphics in the game with 183 black and white photos, plus each unitbox will have a new country flag graphic. As well, the red box that appears around a selected unit on the 2D map has been made a little thicker, for added visibility at higher resolutions.

As a player aid, mechanised infantry, headquarters, and engineer photos will have the appropriate tactical symbol in the upper left corner. For Warsaw Pact mech infantry units, there will also be seen either "B2, 50,60, or 70." This represents the BMP-2, BTR-50/60/70 APC/IFV. This allows the player to know at a glance without having to right-click on the unit box what type he is dealing with. This is important as there are significant differences between the BMP and BTR's with regards to attack and defence.

I had orignally wanted to have colour photos, but many of the Warsaw Pact pictures were b&w, so on the advice of Adam Parker, I opted for uniformity and they all became b&w. In truth, they actually look better this way...
I was pretty thorough about trying to find any glitches, but if I have missed anything, please contact me at the address below.

Thanks to Adam Parker for his support, and to Corey Peltz for tracking down those last few hard-to-find pictures for me.
